Stasi 1989
Am 9. November 1989 fiel die Mauer zwischen der DDR und der BRD. Es war das sichtbare Ergebnis der unblutigen Revolution in Deutschland. 2 Monate später wurde daraufhin das Untersuchungsgefängnis der Staatssicherheit in Potsdam dem Bürgerkomitee übergeben. Direkt am nächsten Tag hatte ich die Möglichkeit dieses Gefängnis zu besuchen und dokumentierte die Zellen, Verhörräume sowie die Aufenthaltsräume und Arbeitsräume der Wärter.

On 9 November 1989 the wall between the GDR and the FRG fell. It was the visible result of the bloodless revolution in Germany. Two months later the prison of the State Security in Potsdam was handed over to the Citizens‘ Committee. The very next day I had the opportunity to visit this prison and documented the cells, interrogation rooms as well as the guards‘ common rooms and workrooms.
