Mare 1987
Mare ist meine erste fotografische Arbeit in Farbe, aufgenommen an der ligurischen Küste in Italien im Jahre 1987. Beeinflusst durch die amerikanische New Color Photography, fotografierte ich die Sehnsuchtsorte des deutschen Bürgertums an der italienischen Küste. Ich entdeckte das größere Negativformat, und so beeinflusste diese Arbeitsweise mit einer Plaubel Makina meine Arbeiten bis heute.
Mare 1987
Mare is my first photographic work in color, taken on the Ligurian coast in Italy in 1987. Influenced by American New Color Photography, I photographed the longing places of the German bourgeoisie on the Italian coast. I discovered the larger negative format, and so this way of working with a Plaubel Makina influenced my work to this day.
